Q: How do I get a manufacturing quote?
A: Hongsinn gives you instant pricing and lead times for your custom parts. There are two ways get a quote and DFM feedback from our sales team.
1.Upload one or more 3D CAD file on our Get a Quote page
2.Send one or more 3D CAD file directly to sales-1@hongsinn.com
In most cases, we respond Quotation within 24 business hours of receiving an RFQ. If the quote is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Q: What file types do you support for instant quotes?
A：For quoting Hongsinn prefer 3D CAD file in format in STEP, IGES, X_T or STL.
2D CAD drawings with reference dimensions in format DWG and PDF.
All of the Hongsinn processes are dependent on good 3D CAD solid models.
Q: How do I know my design will be kept confidential?(Non-Disclosure Agreements)
A：Hongsinn rely on our reputation of working with hundreds of thousands of unique designs over many years, we always keeps customer information confidential and have a strict policy within our factory. If needed, we can sign an NDA with customers who require this documentation.
Q: Do you have any quality certifications?
A：Hongsinn is ISO 9001:2015 certified. You can download our certificates here.
Q: Can Hongsinn provide CMM report?
A：We have experts and inspection equipment to provide full dimensional inspection,we can provide CMM report or 3D scanning report upon customer’s request.
Q: Do you offer OQC reports? Like material cert and FAQ?
A：We offer OQC reports upon request.If required, we can produce additional documentation on material certs, inspection reports, certificates of conformance, etc. We just ask that this information is requested upfront on the order as it becomes very difficult to get something like a material cert afterward!

Q: What types of manufacturing processes can you offer?
A：CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, 3D printing, casting, mold accessories
Q: Advantages of choosing CNC for part production?
A：Almost all engineering plastic and metal materials can be processed to ensure the consistency of prototype parts and mass production parts.In addition, it has high dimensional stability, high machining accuracy and high repetition accuracy. CNC machined parts are far superior to 3D printing parts in accuracy, strength, surface finish and material availability.
Q: Does Hongsinn have a 5-axis machine for precise part production?
A：We equipped with advanced HASS machines from USA, our 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines allow us have flexible capacity to handle your customized parts, no matter simple or high complex.
Q: What tolerances can Hongsinn CNC machining achieve?
A：There is not a given set of tolerances that fits all processes and materials. In every case, the final tolerances on your part will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: part size, design geometry, materials, surface finish. Hongsinn general tolerance is applied to ISO 2768 (medium) for machined plastic and ISO 2768 (fine) for machined metals. Typically, we can hold a CNC machining tolerance from ±0.005″ (±0.125mm) to ±0.002″ (±0.05mm).
Q: What is the maximum part size can you machining?
A：Maximum part size: 1200 x 800 x 600 mm (sometimes need splitting)
Q: How to enjoy the OEM services?
A：Usually, base on your design drawings or original samples, we give some technical proposals and a quotation to you, after your agreement, we produce for you.
Q: Does the company have the capacity for mass production?
A：The company has independent production and large-scale production conditions, one-stop service, 40 CNC machine tools, 10 grinders, 8 EDM machines
Q: How to deal with surface treatment problems?
A：Sample color identification and dispensing ensure batch color consistency, strengthen manual inspection, avoid the defectiveproducts.
Q:How to avoid mass order quality problems?
A：Strengthen the prevention and inspection in advance of the process of production and processing, set important processes asthe key point of quality control, follow up the inspection and defense throughout the process.
Q: How to transport my products?
A：If the goods is less than 200kg, we suggest to use express delivery. We have long-term cooperation with FedEx/DHL/UPS and enjoy much discount. If the goods are more than 200kg, we can arrange shipment as per customer’s requirements.
