PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) is a high-performance thermoplastic widely utilized for critical components in engineering applications—such as seals, manifolds, and assemblies operating in high-temperature chemical environments. Since PEEK component designs typically demand exceptionally tight tolerances and superior surface finishes, successfully machining these materials requires a profound understanding of their cutting characteristics. For filled-grade PEEK materials, we place particular emphasis on managing internal stresses; through the precise regulation of our machining processes, we effectively control and eliminate stress to guarantee both the performance and dimensional stability of the finished parts.

PEEK CNC Machining
PEEK retains excellent strength and dimensional stability in environments reaching up to 500°F (approximately 260°C), while also exhibiting outstanding chemical resistance—making it an ideal material for industries such as medical, aerospace, semiconductor, and oil & gas. In these applications, PEEK is frequently selected as a substitute for fluoropolymers in high-temperature or chemically aggressive environments. Hongsinn is capable of machining PEEK in various forms—including sheets, rods, and tubes—and offers a range of material grades to suit diverse application requirements, including unfilled (virgin) PEEK, 30% glass-filled, 30% carbon-filled, and bearing-grade materials.
