Electropolishing creates a glossy finish, improves cleaning efficiency, and enhances corrosion resistance. It also removes roughness and burrs from stainless steel surfaces at a microscopic level (up to 10 microns).

Hongsinn Brushing and Electropolishing Process
Here's how to use a brush and electropolishing:
•Use an electropolish brush to clean and prepare the part surface
The metal part being electropolished (the anode) is connected to the positive terminal of a direct current (DC) rectifier and immersed in a tank of electrolyte solution. The negative terminal of the rectifier is connected to the cathode (usually stainless steel), which is also immersed in the tank. Current flows from the anode to the cathode, through the solution, oxidizing ions on the surface of the material and dissolving them into the solution.
Rinse
The part is rinsed in another tank with electrolyte solution to remove any residue.
Final Treatment
The part undergoes a final dip in nitric or citric acid, followed by a cold water rinse and drying to achieve the final surface finish.
