You've probably encountered this situation: you pick up a new material, try to machine it using the same machine setup as before, and something unexpected happens. Bang! Aluminum should be easy to machine, right?
Cutting Edge Blunting: In some cases, this melting can cause the cutting edge to lose its sharpness.
Increased Mechanical Loading: When the cutting edge becomes blunt, the mechanical load on the tool increases, further leading to heat buildup.
Premature Tool Failure: This overheating can lead to premature tool failure, impacting productivity and machining quality.

4.Quick proofing, short delivery time, usually is 3-15 days
The softer the material being cut, the faster the recommended cutting speed. For aluminum, when using carbide tools, the recommended cutting speed is between 300 and 600 meters per minute, similar to cutting speeds for wood. However, unlike cutting wood, the optimal feed and speed settings for aluminum typically fall within a tighter range.
High Spindle Speeds: Machining aluminum is often characterized by high spindle speeds.
Caution in Settings: Combining high spindle speeds with feed rates requires caution, as the tool may be in friction with the aluminum for longer than it is cutting. This friction raises the operating temperature, significantly reducing tool life.
Potential Problems
Of course, cutting any material too fast can lead to that familiar sound—a broken tool flying over your shoulder and into the wall! Furthermore, high-speed aluminum machining quickly generates a large amount of scrap, which can lead to additional problems such as chip accumulation and poor machining.
