SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING - SLS
In the SLS printing process, a high-power laser is employed to meld tiny particles of plastic powder into the desired three-dimensional form. This laser selectively fuses powder materials by scanning the three-dimensional data section across the surface of the powder bed. After scanning each section, the thickness of the powder bed is reduced by a layer, new material is added, and the selective laser sintering process is reiterated until the part is fully formed.
SLS 3D printing is not only suitable for prototyping functional polymer components but also for small production batches due to its high level of design flexibility, precision, and the production of parts with consistent and excellent mechanical properties.
STEREO LIGHT CURING MOLDING - SLA
Primarily utilizing photosensitive resin as its raw material, stereolithography (SLA) technology leverages the rapid curing property of liquid photosensitive resin under ultraviolet laser beam exposure. The photosensitive resin, typically in liquid form, promptly triggers a polymerization reaction and undergoes curing upon exposure to a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light (ranging from 250 nm to 400 nm).
SLA directs focused ultraviolet light of a particular wavelength and intensity onto the surface of the light-curable material, solidifying it sequentially from point to line and from line to surface. This process enables the creation of layered cross-sections, forming the desired three-dimensional object.
